Poolside Retro vs. Effortless Chic

By pairing a strapless bathing suit top, I give a retro spin on loose shorts. The fifties were all about high waisted bathing suit bottoms and bandeau tops. Today, I incorporate that with this bandeau top and high rise shorts.

What is not cool about reflective sunglasses, high-rise shorts, and sitting in the middle of the road? With the same shorts, I was able to incorporate many of today’s trends such as the reflective sunglasses, and high rise shorts. Less is more, as seen by wearing a simple white top with a little lace detail near the neckline.
